Quetta Friday Prayer Leader Allama Ghulam Hasnain Wijdani Released

Shiite News: Senior religious scholar and Imam Juma of Quetta, Allama Ghulam Hasnain Wijdani, who was unjustly detained in a Saudi prison for the past eight months, has been released and safely arrived in Karachi. He will later travel to Quetta.
The release was confirmed by Imam Juma Quetta, Allama Syed Hashim Moosavi, who stated that Allama Wijdani had been wrongfully arrested by Saudi authorities after performing Umrah.
According to sources, Saudi security officials detained him at the airport by falsely declaring his medication as narcotics and transferred him to jail.
Sources further revealed that last week in Islamabad, during the National Ulema and Mashayakh Conference, former President of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Allama Sadiq Jafri formally requested Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar to raise the matter diplomatically with Saudi authorities, which eventually led to his release.
