Allama Sajid Naqvi’s Message on Birth Anniversary of Imam Muhammad Baqir (AS)

Shiite News: Leader of the Jafaria Nation of Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, issued a special message on the birth anniversary of the fifth Imam, Imam Muhammad Baqir (AS), highlighting his unparalleled role in spreading Islamic knowledge and earning the title “Baqir al-Uloom” (The Splitter of Knowledge).
He stated that Imam Baqir (AS) laid the foundation of systematic scholarly training, producing hundreds of students who preserved and propagated the true teachings of Islam. Even scholars of other schools of thought acknowledged the authenticity of knowledge imparted by Imam Baqir (AS).
Allama Naqvi emphasized Imam Baqir’s (AS) balanced approach to life, including earning lawful livelihood, intellectual struggle against deviant ideologies, and unwavering commitment to truth despite hardships.
He noted that Imam Baqir (AS) was uniquely honored as Najib al-Tarafayn, having Imams as his ancestors and descendants, and as a direct witness to the tragedy of Karbala.
Concluding his message, Allama Naqvi stated that Imam Muhammad Baqir’s (AS) continuous struggle against deviation and his steadfast adherence to principles remain a timeless source of guidance for humanity.
