Sheikh Ahmed Ali Noori Condemns Indian CM’s Anti-Hijab Statement

Shiite News: Sheikh Ahmed Ali Noori, Member Gilgit-Baltistan Council and President of Majlis Ulema-e-Maktab-e-Ahl-e-Bait Baltistan, has strongly condemned the anti-hijab statement of an Indian Chief Minister, terming it a shameful act and clear evidence of the fascist and Islamophobic mindset of the Modi government.
He stated that hijab is a symbol of dignity, identity, and honor for Muslim women, and targeting it is an attack on the sentiments of the entire Muslim world.
He highlighted the systematic marginalization of Muslims in India, particularly the humiliation and psychological persecution of Muslim women.
He urged the United Nations, OIC, Amnesty International, and other international human rights organizations to immediately take notice of India’s rising Islamophobia and state-sponsored oppression.
