Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi Meets Maulana Ashfaq Wahidi, Calls Interfaith Harmony a Need of the Hour

Shiite News: Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi held an important meeting with senior leader of Shia Ulema Council Pakistan and President of AusPak Interfaith, Maulana Ashfaq Wahidi. During the meeting, wide-ranging discussions were held on national, international, and organizational matters.
According to details, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi emphasized that the promotion of interfaith harmony at the global level has become an urgent necessity of the present time. He strongly condemned terrorism and extremist violence prevailing in different parts of the world.
Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi also provided guidance to Maulana Ashfaq Wahidi regarding welfare and social service initiatives, stating that the crises facing the world today are largely the result of poor governance, lack of vision, and flawed policies by rulers.
He stressed that true success lies in promoting interfaith and inter-sect harmony and presenting the real image of a united Muslim Ummah.
Maulana Ashfaq Wahidi, while expressing his resolve to struggle for the resolution of national challenges and the protection of public rights, stated that elements promoting takfiri ideology have always harmed Islam and the country. He added that the Holy Qur’an teaches unity and the bonding of hearts, and called upon the government to take legal action against those spreading hatred and division so that terrorism can be eliminated from the country.
