Pakistan’s First Houza Book Fair in Islamabad: Activating Scholarly Potential
Shiite News: Jamia al-Mustafa Pakistan organized the country’s first three-day Hawza Book Fair, showcasing religious, academic, and research works from across Pakistan. Dr. Kazim Saleem explained that the fair aims to revive scholarly activity and identify individuals with latent research potential.
Approximately 40 research institutions participated, displaying books and academic works. On the inaugural day, women scholars and students from Rawalpindi and Islamabad attended.
The event included book stalls, lectures on scholarly contributions, and guidance for students to engage actively in research and writing. The fair concluded with an awards ceremony and appreciation for contributors.
