Quetta Hosts Second Session on Thoughts of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei
Shiite News:The Iran Cultural Center (Khana-e-Farhang) of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Quetta, Pakistan, in collaboration with various cultural and academic institutions of Balochistan, successfully organized the second special session titled “Rahbar-e-Mu‘azzam Ayatullah al-Uzma Syed Ali Khamenei ke Afkaar-o-Nazariyat se Aagahi”.
The scholarly and cultural event was held at the Ayatollah Khamenei Hall in Quetta.
Prominent personalities from different walks of life across Balochistan participated in the program, including students, lawyers, university teachers, renowned literary figures, and leading Shia and Sunni scholars.
Speakers from Quetta and other cities of Pakistan discussed in detail the cultural, administrative, social, political, and literary aspects of the Supreme Leader’s thought, offering participants a comprehensive understanding of his intellectual framework.
Imam Juma Quetta, Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Syed Hashim, highlighted the Supreme Leader’s political, social, and defensive services for the Muslim Ummah. Sunni scholars appreciated his stance on Palestine and other Islamic countries and expressed gratitude for his support of the Palestinian cause.
Addressing the session, Allama Dr. Muhammad Yaqoob Bishwi stated that the Supreme Leader is not only a leader of Shias but a great asset for the entire Muslim world.
He emphasized that the concept of a modern Qur’anic civilization provides solutions to all problems of the Ummah and stressed that the Qur’an was revealed to build the Ummah, not to divide it.
He added that the Qur’an calls for self-reliance, true awakening, freedom, and steadfastness, and therefore rejects every false system.
Dr. Bishwi further noted that despite facing economic sanctions for 45 years, Iran stands stronger than ever due to the foresighted leadership of the Supreme Leader. He said the Supreme Leader’s role on the Palestine issue has astonished the world, weakening the arrogance of Israel and the United States and paving the way for a new Middle East.
A faculty member of Jamiat al-Mustafa al-Alamiya stated that the Supreme Leader has given glad tidings of Palestine’s imminent freedom, emphasizing that freedom requires sacrifice. He added that the Supreme Leader’s cultural and collective vision forms the foundation of all change and that the Qur’an demands cultural transformation as the basis of politics and society.
