Resistance Poetry Is A Powerful Cultural Weapon, Ayatollah Khamenei

Shiite News: Addressing thousands of eulogists and devotees of Ahlul Bayt (a.s.) at the Imam Khomeini Hussainiyyah on the blessed birth anniversary of Lady Fatima Zahra (sa), Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said that despite relentless efforts by enemies, the Iranian nation has preserved its religious, cultural, and historical identity.
He said Iran today is not merely facing military and economic pressure but an intense psychological and media warfare.
He urged eulogists to present Islamic and revolutionary teachings with strength, keeping their gatherings completely free of corrupt, Westernized cultural elements and immoral music.
He emphasized that a meaningful eulogy or lament can sometimes have more profound influence than lengthy speeches, as it keeps alive the memory of martyrs and strengthens the identity of resistance.
The Leader said the enemy’s main goal is to erase the essence of the Islamic Revolution, undermine its objectives, and diminish the legacy of Imam Khomeini (r.a.).
He identified the United States as the central hub of hostility, with Europe following its lead and traitorous elements assisting from within.
He called upon eulogists to educate the youth, address misconceptions effectively, and highlight the Qur’an’s guidance for personal, social, and political life. He concluded by urging them to transform their gatherings into fortresses of revolutionary values and protect the younger generation from deceptive propaganda.
