Knowledge Leads to Reflection, Self-Building and Awareness: Sheikh Ghulam Hussain Mukhlisi

Shiite News: A major scholarly session titled “Talibaat ki Ilmi, Ma’navi aur Samaji Peshraft mein Mutala’a aur Us ka Kirdar”, was held at Jamiat al-Mustafa Karachi (Women’s Section) in connection with Book Week.
Addressing the event, Hujjat ul-Islam Sheikh Ghulam Hussain Mukhlisi emphasized that reading is the source of true knowledge of God, self-purification, and the cure for envy.
He said that knowledge demands responsibility, and the divine mission of prophets — teaching, purification and wisdom — cannot be fulfilled without reading.
He urged students to strengthen their academic progress through grammar, logic exercises, summarization, intellectual debates, and pre-reading of Tafsir, history and jurisprudence.
An exhibition of works by Martyr Motahhari and Allama Tabatabai was also arranged, along with book-reading competitions and a 40% discount on books offered with the assistance of Irada Dar al-Thaqalayn.
