Pakistan Once Again Moving Toward a Crisis Like 1971: Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri

Shiite News: Addressing a massive gathering in Peshawar, Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri warned that Pakistan is passing through one of the most sensitive and critical phases of its history.
He said that after the 1970 elections, the nation faced a similar situation when the Parliament was not convened for an entire year, eventually leading to the tragedy of 1971. Today, decades later, similar mistakes are pushing the country towards another grave national crisis.
He stated that the February 8, 2024 elections saw the blatant violation of the people’s right to vote, as the public mandate was manipulated and imposed rulers — thieves, usurpers and looters — were forced upon the nation.
He added that the beloved leader of the people, Imran Khan, was unjustly incarcerated under a false pretext, yet the people’s love and loyalty for him did not weaken.
“All of this oppression could not sever the bond between the people and their leader. Why should we forget Imran Khan? He awakened the nation with the gift of freedom, dignity, courage, bravery and awareness,” he said.
