Questions Rise Over Sipah-e-Sahaba’s Silence on TTP Terror

Shiite News: In the wake of the latest deadly wave of terrorism in Pakistan, public outrage has erupted against the banned outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) and its ringleader, the accursed Aurangzeb Farooqi, raising serious questions: Is this the same group that is the ideological father of the TTP?
Security analysts and experts openly state that SSP has, for decades, propagated the same poisonous ideology that forms the backbone of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. Their narrative, their targets and their operational logic are identical.
What is shocking and deeply condemnable is the fact that despite thousands of Pakistanis — civilians, soldiers, and police personnel — being martyred by TTP, not a single sermon, speech or statement of condemnation has ever emerged from SSP’s mosques, pulpits or gatherings.
Experts warn that the era of “soft corners” is over. Any group that nurtures the ideological roots of terrorism cannot be allowed to hide behind the label of “political party.” Security institutions have also stated that ideological alignment — even without direct communication — is in itself a criminal act of national-security significance.
The nation’s direct question today remains: “When the Taliban slaughter our children, why does Sipah-e-Sahaba remain silent? For how long will the ideological godfathers of terrorism continue to enjoy protection?”
