Allama Safdar Hussain Najafi Remembered as Benefactor of the Nation, Allama Sajid Naqvi
Shiite News: Chief of Shia Ulema Council Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, paid heartfelt tribute on the 36th death anniversary of renowned scholar, translator of Tafseer-e-Namoona, and founder of numerous religious institutions, Allama Syed Safdar Hussain Najafi.
He said that despite economic difficulties and social challenges, Allama Najafi tirelessly established seminaries, mosques, and religious centers across Pakistan and abroad, earning the title of “Mohsin-e-Millat” (Benefactor of the Nation).
He highlighted that Allama Najafi played a pivotal role in raising religious awareness, nurturing students, and strengthening religious organizations.
His scholarly contributions, including significant works in translation and writing—especially the Urdu translation of Tafseer-e-Namoona—remain invaluable resources for researchers and students. Allama Sajid Naqvi prayed for the elevation of his ranks and forgiveness of his soul.
