Suuni Ittehad Council will celebrate the decade from 1st till 10th Muharram in remeberance of Imam Hussain (as): Sahibzada Hamid Raza  

Chairman of Sunni Ittehad Council Sahibzada Hamid Raza, while addressing the party members, said “the agreement between the government and MQM is a conspiracy against Karachi operation. Karachi operation should not suffer because of political interests. The yearly theft of gas worth 400 billion shows government’s incompetency, Muslim League (N) have always won elections with money, bluff and deceit”.

He asked for special measures to be taken in order to ensure peace during Muharram and announced that Sunni Ittehad Council will celebrate ‘Ashra e Imam Hussain (as) from 1^st to 10^th Muharram ul Haram. He also told that Sunni Ittehad Council has formed peace committees at district level to perform its role in establishing peace during Muharram.

He further said “Those looting national wealth will soon meet their dreadful end. Discontinuing Samjhota Express is an act of Indian anxiety, Southern Punjab has become a nursery of extremism and terrorism”.

“Those who have been involved in corruption, looting and plundering, misuse of powers, exempted from paying loans, and forcefully occupy lands should be strongly punished and whoever is found involved in corruption should be banned for life from participating in politics”, he added.

Hamid Raza also said “MQM should refrain from its past policies, the only purpose of anti-Rangers advertisements was to defame Rangers. Election Commission have been openly supporting Muslim League (N) and does not have the capacity to hold clear and fair elections.
