Protests in Hodeida announce mobilization, hail security operation against spy network
Large demonstrations were held across Hodeida province on Friday, declaring continued mobilization and readiness to confront any threats targeting the country’s security and sovereignty.
Participants praised the Interior Ministry’s recent operation that led to the arrest of what authorities described as an American-Israeli-Saudi spy network.
Protesters hailed the operation as a significant achievement that reflects the high vigilance of the security services and their ability to thwart plots aimed at destabilizing the nation.
The protesters warned those described as traitors or collaborators against serving foreign agendas, stressing the public’s growing awareness in exposing anyone aligned with hostile forces.
The participants renewed their commitment to defending the homeland and supporting directives aimed at strengthening internal unity and confronting external adversaries.
The participants also reiterated their unwavering support for Palestine, calling it the central cause of the nation.
The demonstrators declared full mobilization in support of the Palestinian people, saying their turnout sends a message of solidarity to Gaza and affirming that Yemen stands with Palestinians through words, actions, and steadfast support.
Speakers attributed Yemen’s endurance and resilience in the face of aggression to the sacrifices of the country’s martyrs, reaffirming loyalty to their path and the pursuit of full sovereignty, independence, and national reconstruction.
A statement issued at the rallies lauded the armed forces and security services for what it described as significant victories across various fronts, including operations against U.S. and Israeli forces. It said that the recent arrest of alleged spy cells marked another blow to hostile intelligence services and called for swift judicial action.
The statement urged nationwide cooperation with security institutions, warning that withholding information related to espionage or sabotage would make individuals complicit.
It also condemned continued Israeli attacks in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon, reaffirming Yemen’s commitment to supporting just causes in the region and maintaining full readiness to confront any new aggression.
