Caretaker Setup Must Be Free from Political Influence, MWM

Shiite News: An important online meeting of the Political Council of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Gilgit-Baltistan, chaired by Opposition Leader Kazim Meesam, was held to review the caretaker government arrangements.
Participants emphasized that the caretaker setup’s constitutional duty is to ensure free, fair, and impartial elections, warning that politicizing it would compromise transparency and erode public trust.
Central Secretary Political Affairs Asad Abbas Naqvi also attended the meeting and urged that only honest, capable, and non-partisan individuals should be included in the caretaker setup.
