Conveying Nahjul Balagha to Humanity is a Vital Need of the Time: Allama Sajid Naqvi

Shiite News: Markaz-e-Afkar-e-Islami organized the annual gathering of Jamia Jafria Jand, titled Nahjul Balagha Conference 2025, on November 2, 2025.
Scholars and believers from across the region attended and benefitted from the enlightening addresses of various speakers.
In his special message to the conference, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi noted that the tradition of organizing the Nahjul Balagha Conference during Jamia Jafria’s annual gathering is a commendable effort led by Maulana Maqbool Hussain Alvi and his associates.
Their continued dedication has helped spread awareness of Nahjul Balagha both in Pakistan and abroad, enriching intellectual and spiritual understanding among the people.
Allama Naqvi emphasized that transmitting the eloquent and just sermons of Imam Ali (A.S.) to future generations and humanity at large is a fundamental duty of our time. He praised Markaz-e-Afkar-e-Islami for its valuable efforts in this regard.
He highlighted that the divine sermons of Imam Ali (A.S.), despite being ancient, remain fresh, relevant, and filled with intellectual, political, and ethical guidance for today’s world.
In an age marked by moral and ideological challenges, Nahjul Balagha serves as a guiding beacon for human society.
Allama Naqvi further noted that among its 241 sermons, Nahjul Balagha addresses diverse subjects—ranging from beliefs, ethics, and human conduct to nature, history, and governance—presenting a timeless roadmap for those in search of knowledge and virtue.
He also paid tribute to the late Allama Syed Razi Abbas Hamdani, whose memory was honored during the event, and prayed for his elevated ranks and patience for his bereaved family.
Concluding his message, Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi commended the organizers of Jamia Jafria Jand and encouraged the youth to benefit intellectually and spiritually from Nahjul Balagha for their personal and communal growth.
