Annual Nahjul Balagha Conference Continues at Jamia Jafria Jand
Shiite News: The Annual Nahjul Balagha Conference is being held at Jamia Jafria Jand, a prominent religious seminary in Pakistan. The event, dedicated to the memory of the late Principal Syed Razi Abbas Hamdani (RA), has drawn a large number of scholars and believers from across the country.
The first session featured speeches from prominent scholars including Allama Maqbool Hussain Alvi (UK), Allama Sheikh Anwar Ali Najafi (Islamabad), Allama Anis Al-Hasnain Khan (Islamabad), Allama Liaqat Ali Awan, Allama Syed Saeed Hamdani, Allama Iqbal Hussain Maqsoodpuri, and Allama Syed Ali Raza Naqvi (Lahore).
During the session, graduates of the seminary were formally turbaned by senior clerics in a symbolic gesture of scholarly succession. The participants praised the educational efforts of Jamia Jafria and pledged to continue promoting the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and Nahjul Balagha.
Remarkably, the conference also featured significant participation from women. Teachers and students from Jamia Zainabiya (S) efficiently managed the women’s section, highlighting the vital role of women in religious education and organization.
