MWM Expresses Deep Concern Over Atrocities in Sudan

Shiite News: The Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) has expressed grave concern and sorrow over the ongoing human tragedy and atrocities in Sudan, particularly in Darfur and Al-Fashir, where violent clashes between military factions have devastated the nation.
In a statement issued by the MWM central spokesperson, the party condemned the mass killings, displacement, and destruction of hospitals, worship places, and residential areas, describing the situation as a gross violation of human rights, international law, and Islamic values.
The MWM called upon the United Nations, OIC, African Union, and global human rights bodies to press for an immediate ceasefire, open humanitarian corridors, and launch transparent investigations into war crimes.
The statement emphasized that raising one’s voice against oppression anywhere in the world is a moral and religious obligation, reiterating the MWM’s commitment to stand with the oppressed people of Sudan until justice prevails.
