Saudi FM participates in talks on Gaza held in Istanbul

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan participated in a ministerial meeting on Gaza hosted by Turkiye on Monday, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The talks involved top diplomats from Qatar, the UAE, Jordan, Pakistan and Indonesia, and discussed developments in the Gaza Strip and efforts made to establish peace in the region.

The implementation of US President Donald Trump’s plan to end the war in Gaza and the outcomes of the Sharm El-Sheikh Summit were discussed.

The latest outcomes of a meeting of the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, which was recently held in Riyadh, were also reviewed, as well as joint efforts to coordinate diplomatic and humanitarian efforts.

An emphasis was also placed on continuing to exert all efforts to ensure the consolidation of the ceasefire and the arrival of humanitarian aid to all areas of the Gaza Strip, SPA said.
