IK Decries Delay in Notification of Raja Nasir and Achakzai as Opposition Leaders

Shiite News: Former Prime Minister Imran Khan, through a message from Adiala Jail conveyed by his sister, stated that the massive public participation in rallies at Charsadda, Khyber, and Karak reflects the nation’s political awareness and commitment to defending its rights.
He praised the organizers of these rallies and urged the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to accelerate its “Movement for Real Freedom” in collaboration with the “Movement for the Protection of the Constitution.”
Imran Khan expressed concern over the continued delay in issuing notifications for Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri and Mahmood Khan Achakzai as opposition leaders in the Senate and National Assembly. He demanded immediate notification for both leaders.
He also protested against being denied meetings with his lawyers, family, and KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi despite court orders, calling it a clear violation of human rights and judicial rulings.
Imran Khan instructed his legal team to approach the higher judiciary against contempt of court and delay tactics in the Al-Qadir Trust case. He warned that he might soon be moved back into solitary confinement.
He further directed CM Sohail Afridi to form a small cabinet at his discretion and clarified that only Secretary General Salman Akram Raja is authorized to issue official PTI statements.
