Shia Youth Adil Martyred After Hate Conference by Aurangzeb Farooqi in Islamabad
Shiite News: In Karachi’s Orangi Town Sector 5-11 Mansoor Nagar, armed terrorists belonging to the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi organization opened fire on a Shia youth, Adil, martyring him on the spot. The body of the martyr was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
This tragic incident took place shortly after the federal government allowed leaders of banned terrorist outfits Sipah-e-Sahaba and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi to hold a gathering in the capital.
During that event, Aurangzeb Farooqi delivered inflammatory speeches against Shia Muslims.
Just days after that so-called conference, the killing of a Shia youth in Karachi stands as stark evidence of the disastrous consequences of leniency toward banned terrorist organizations.
Observers question how, when the government already possesses detailed records of these outfits’ terrorist and sectarian backgrounds, such elements were permitted to gather and deliver speeches in the capital.
Various religious and civil society groups have expressed strong anger, urging the government to immediately take notice of the privileges being extended to banned outfits and to take practical steps to protect the Shia community.
