Shiite News: The terrorist ringleader of the banned Sipah-e-Sahaba, Aurangzeb Farooqi, once again spread sectarian hatred and incitement during a so-called “Takfiri Conference” held in Islamabad, where he labeled the Imamia Students Organization (ISO) a terrorist group and used hateful language against Shia Muslims and Iran.
Reacting strongly to this speech, Agha Shahid Safdar Mehdi said, “These are the same people whose hands are stained with the blood of 70,000 Pakistanis, yet now they dare to call the ambassadors of peace and unity terrorists.”
He warned that granting such terrorist elements freedom would severely endanger both the credibility of state institutions and the country’s peace.
He emphasized that ISO is a patriotic, intellectual, and ideological organization that has always worked for Pakistan’s stability, education, and harmony, while banned groups like Sipah-e-Sahaba and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi operate on anti-Pakistan agendas.
Agha Shahid Safdar Mehdi added that remaining silent against organizations spreading sectarianism is criminal negligence.
He demanded that the government and state institutions immediately take strict action against such terrorist elements.
Civil society and believers also condemned the incident, urging the government to take swift, transparent, and credible measures to curb sectarian hatred and bring those responsible to justice.
