One Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorist killed in Lahore CTD operation
Shiite News: A terrorist belonging to the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi was killed in an exchange of fire with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) police in Lahore, while three of his accomplices managed to escape.
According to police, four suspects riding two motorcycles opened indiscriminate fire upon seeing a police checkpoint. In the ensuing gun battle, one terrorist was injured and later died en route to the hospital, while his three associates fled the scene, leaving behind their weapons and motorcycles.
Authorities said the killed terrorist had been involved in several acts of terrorism, and a search operation is underway to apprehend the fugitives.
