Takfiri terrorist group Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan declared banned, official notification issued

Shiite News: According to information received from the federal capital Islamabad, the Takfiri terrorist group Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) has been declared banned by the Interior Ministry.

According to details, the federal cabinet had approved the ban on Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan the previous day, after which the Interior Ministry issued an official notification.

According to sources, the Punjab government had also sent recommendations to the Interior Ministry to declare TLP banned, which were approved by the federal government.

The official statement said that Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan had become a threat to extremism, hatred and public order in the country, on this basis the party has been banned under the Anti-Terrorism Act 1997.

Political and social circles have termed this decision as an important step towards eliminating extremism and have expressed the expectation that the state will ensure uniform action against hateful elements.
