US seeks to threaten all nations around the world: Commander
An Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) commander says the United States, by deploying it military forces around the world, seeks to threaten and dominate all countries.
Addressing an event in the northwestern city of Mashhad on Wednesday, Brigadier General Gholam Reza Soleimani, the commander of the IRGC’s Basij (volunteer forces) Organization, rebuked the US for changing the name of its Department of Defense to the Department of War.
He said that President Donald Trump’s move shows he is seeking to “transform the American military ideologically” and that “a new era of wars” is ahead with the nexus between the US and the Israeli regime, as well as their narrative framing.
Stating that the future of nations will be accompanied by war, General Soleimani called it ironic on the part of Washington and Tel Aviv for considering China, Russia, Venezuela, Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan, and Iran as posing potential threats.
The head of the Basij force underlined that Trump’s goal is to acquire money and wealth through Israeli lobbies that actually determine US policies.
