Prohibited Lashkar-e-Jhangvi cleric rapes child, blames Iblis

Shiite News: A sad incident has come to light in a mosque in the Dhamial area of Rawalpindi, where a qari belonging to the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi has been accused of sexually assaulting a twelve-year-old child.
According to the police, the accused was busy with religious worship as usual during and after the incident, due to which the parents and people of the area were initially unable to suspect him.

According to the police, the accused gave a very shameful justification in his statement and said: “I am not to blame, but Iblis, who seduced me, so Iblis should also be arrested.” The accused further blamed the victim, saying that he was in “inappropriate clothing”, which aroused his ferocious emotions.

The heinous crime has sparked outrage in the area. Social and human rights organizations have strongly condemned the incident, saying that this justification is actually an attempt to cover up a heinous crime, and society cannot be made safe without giving such individuals exemplary punishment.
