The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a widespread arrest campaign across the West Bank and Jerusalem overnight and into Thursday morning, kidnapping numerous Palestinian citizens in violent raids that were accompanied by home demolitions and settler attacks on property.

The operations targeted multiple regions, underscoring a coordinated escalation.

Wave of Arrests and Violence

In Jerusalem Israeli police occupation forces stormed the town of Kafr Aqab, kidnapping Murad al-Ajlouni, a former prisoner who had been serving three life sentences plus 20 years since 2002. He was released only recently as part of a prisoner exchange deal during the ongoing war on Gaza. In a separate raid near Qalandia refugee camp, forces kidnapped a young man after firing live ammunition and tear gas at local youths.

The IOF kidnapped two citizens at a makeshift checkpoint in Ramallah. In Qalqilya, raids turned particularly violent in Kafr Thuluth town, where the IOF assaulted approximately 50 young men, detaining and interrogating them inside a commandeered home used as a makeshift interrogation center. While most were later released, several were kidnapped to an undisclosed location. Another young man was taken from his home in Qalqilya’s Old City.

Three young men were kidnapped from Beita town, another from Sarra town, and further arrests were reported in the southern area of al-Khalil and the towns of Beit Awwa and Sa’ir.
Home Demolished and Settler Violence Rages

In a parallel wave of aggression, the IOF and extremist settlers targeted Palestinian property.

IOF bulldozers stormed the village east of Nablus and demolished a Palestinian home under the pretext of unlicensed construction. This comes after the Israeli occupation army recently notified several villagers of its intent to destroy their homes.
Extremist settlers infiltrated Beit Dajan village at dawn, destroying the irrigation network of a Palestinian farmer’s greenhouse. In al-Burj village southwest of al-Khalil, another group released their cattle into a Palestinian olive grove, causing extensive damage to the crops.
