Martyr of Namoos e Risalat Ali Raza Taqvi’s third death anniversary being celebrated today

An era of disrespecting Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was started by Denmark, the US and other western countries with Jewish support in the name of ‘freedom of expression’ that caused chaos in the whole world. Jews, according to a plan, published Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)’s caricatures simultaneously in newspapers of Denmark, the US and other western countries after which Muslims, all over the world, started protest campaigns, against the publication, during which protests were conducted at embassies and consulates of the specified countries. Similar protest campaigns were initiated in Pakistan as well by the political and religious parties but those campaigns showed the world a clear difference between those who gained and those who lost. 

MWM Pakistan and Imamia Students organization also initiated a protest campaign that was started by a huge rally in Karachi that was to record protest by demonstrating at the US Consulate. A large number of people including men, women (both young and old) and children participated in the rally due to which the pro-US government of Muslim League (N) felt threatened and tried to stop the rally at different places but they failed to stop the people whose hearts were filled with Prophet’s love and were extremely angry over the behavior and acts of western countries. Among hundreds of other people, Ali Raza Taqvi was also a part of the rally and had decided to do something unusual.  

The rally reached to the US Consulate while chanting slogans of ‘Labaik Ya Rasool Allah’, ‘Murda-bad America’ and ‘Murda-bad Israel’ and that was the time when several people started trying to hoist the flag of ‘La Ilah Allah Muhammad ur Rasool Allah (PBUH)’ and Syed Ali Raza Taqvi was also among those people who were attempting to hoist the flag. But when he was climbing up the gate of the consulate, he was gunned down and became the first martyr of Namoos e Risalat in Pakistan. The martyrdom of Ali Raza Taqvi raised the morale of other people instead of bringing it down and they succeeded in hoisting the flag at the consulate. This became the second moment when the world witnessed the insult of the US, after the Islamic revolution in Iran. The campaign did not end here rather similar flags were hoisted at the US consulates in Lahore and Peshawar as well that made the US extremely angry.

The martyrdom of Syed Ali Raza Taqvi brought mixed feelings of both grief and happiness in the whole country. Different political and religious leaders of the country, leaders of Lebanon and Palestine and many others paid tribute to the martyr.
