Punjab’s provincial minister Bilal Yasin met Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, assured to convey MWM’s concerns to Sharif brothers

Muslim League (N)’s provincial Minister Bilal Yasin met MWM Pakistan’s leader Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri at MWM Punjab’s provincial secretariat during Allama Nasir Abbas Jafri’s two days visit to Lahore. Issues regarding Muharram ul Haram and municipal elections were discussed in the meeting. Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, while talking to Bilal Yasin, said that MWM is not against any political party, we believe in dialogue and completely support Pakistan army’s operation against terrorists. He also said that action upon the National Action Plan should be made sure however, the process of threatening our innocent and peaceful members in Punjab and Gilgit Baltistan, according to the balance policy, is not acceptable. He said that Millat e Ja’afaria has given more than 24000 lives in this war against terrorism but has never compromised over Pakistan’s security and survival. We have always condemned sectarianism and extremism and everyone is aware of our efforts for promoting unity and brotherhood among different schools of thoughts. Allama Raja Nasir Abbas further said that the practice of treating both the oppressor and the oppressed in the same manner should be stopped, we completely believe in democracy and agree that democracy should be continued in order to promote country’s development and stability. He also said that it is government’s responsibility to make the best arrangements for Imam Hussain’s Majalis and Huloos during Muharram ul Haram and imposition of unreasonable restrictions upon speakers (zaakireen and khutba) are not acceptable.  

Provincila Minister Bilal Yasin said that after meeting the leadership of MWM he realized that their thoughts and ideology are commendable and every true Pakistani should think in this way. We will inform the leadership about the meeting with Allama Raja Nasir and his concerns and will continue the contact in future in order to ensure the solution of all issues through dialogue. MWM Punjab’s secretary general Allama Abdul Khaliq asadi, Allama Ejaz Baheshti, Syed Nasir Sheerazi, Syed Asad Abbas Naqvi, Ameer Abbas Mirza, Mazahir Shagri and Asif Raza were also present during the meeting.
