MWM announces to end Arbaeen March after successful negotiations with Govt

Shiite News: Vice Chairman of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi has announced in his important address that:

“The Governor of Sindh and the MQM leadership have considered the issue of the pilgrims as their own, for which we are grateful to them.”

He said that today a joint delegation of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen and the Shia Ulema Council met with government representatives, during which a detailed discussion was held on the issues and demands of the pilgrims.

Allama Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi clarified that:

“The federal government has accepted all our demands, which included the demand for special flights, low fares, and concessionary flights for the pilgrims sitting in Quetta.”

He announced: “The ongoing Arbaeen Hussaini march in Karachi and Ramadan is being ended, because our negotiations have been successful.”

He said that the MWM and the Shia Ulema Council will fully monitor the implementation of the government’s promises, and these demands are being monitored through a committee.

Allama Rizvi added: “Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori is in constant contact with the federal government to implement these demands, and God willing, all the pilgrims will leave for Iraq for the pilgrimage before Arbaeen.”

He expressed the hope that the government will immediately start flight operations, following the indication given, so that thousands of pilgrims can reach Najaf and Karbala on time.
