Talal Chaudhry meets Shia scholars
Shiite News: Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry meet with the Shia Ulema Council and MWM.
MWM and Shia Ulema Council have announced a nationwide protest against the ban on the land travel of pilgrims on Arbaeen.
On the other hand, in the meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Religious Affairs, Allama Nasir Abbas expressed his opinion and said that if the ban on going to Karbala by land for Arbaeen continues, there will be a loss of Rs 50 billion.
He said that if alternative means are used, an additional expenditure of Rs 48 billion will be incurred. The Ministry of Religious Affairs considers the issues of worship better, this is not the authority of the Interior Committee.
It should be noted that the leaders of the Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen had said in a statement that the sudden closure of land routes and ban on pilgrims by the federal government is unacceptable in any way, this act is a sign of government administrative incompetence and an attempt to affect the global Arbaeen. He further said that they announce a nationwide protest, in the first phase, protests will be held in different districts of Sindh, if the closure is not lifted, they will also announce sit-ins.
