Ban on pilgrimages by land is unacceptable, Maulana Syed Zeeshan Haider Al-Husani

Shiite News: President of the Qom Branch of the Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen, Maulana Syed Zeeshan Haider Al-Husani, has said in a statement that the ban on travel by land for pilgrims of Imam Hussain (a.s.) is unacceptable under any circumstances. He urged the government to provide complete security to all citizens, so that their travel is not hindered by fear of terrorism.

He said that if the Baloch people had not been deprived of their basic rights in the past, the series of enforced disappearances had been stopped, public resources had been properly utilized and educational and training institutions had been established, this sad situation of law and order would not have arisen today.

Maulana Syed Zeeshan Haider al-Husani said that it is the responsibility of the state to ensure the protection of the life and property of every citizen and to give pilgrims the opportunity to perform their religious duties without fear or danger.
