Blocking the routes of pilgrims is a joke, routes should be made safe, Allama Qazi Nader Alvi

Shiite News: Provincial Coordinator of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen South Punjab Allama Qazi Nader Hussain Alvi has said that tall claims were made for pilgrims in a meeting of the interior ministers of Pakistan, Iran and Iraq, but blocking the routes of pilgrims instead of confronting terrorists is a joke. The routes of pilgrims should be made safe, terrorists should be eliminated.

He said that Pakistani pilgrims will go for pilgrimage by road in any case, providing security is the responsibility of the government.

The baseless cases filed during Muharram should be ended. If our demands are not accepted, we will come out in response to the decision of the leaders, and the entire nation will express its reaction to the decision of the center.

He expressed these views while holding a press conference with caravan leaders from across the division at Multan Press Club.

He further said that we can cut but we cannot leave the pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (AS), whatever decision the central leadership will take, the entire nation will support it. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has taken a hard line on the pilgrims, the closure of the routes will result in a loss of crores of rupees, the government should take heed.
