Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi holds important meeting with Maulana Fazlur Rehman

Shiite News: Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi met with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence, in which detailed discussions were held on the overall religious and political situation of the country, unity of the Ummah, elimination of sectarianism, national struggle against terrorism, Palestine and the Kashmir issue.

Both leaders emphasized the need to suppress sectarianism, establish interfaith harmony and lasting peace in Pakistan. Terming terrorism as a serious threat to the country’s security, they agreed on the need to adopt an effective and joint national strategy against it.

The meeting strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli atrocities and aggression against the Palestinian people, and called on the Muslim Ummah to unite and raise an effective voice in support of the Palestinians.

The unwavering support for the right of self-determination of the Kashmiri people was reiterated. They called on the international community to take notice of the human rights violations in occupied Kashmir and ensure a just solution to the Kashmir issue in accordance with UN resolutions.

The meeting was attended by Central Vice President Shia Islamic Movement of Pakistan Allama Arif Hussain Wahidi, Honorable Aslam Ghauri, Honorable Owais Noorani, Hafiz Abdul Karim and other personalities.
