Iranian President meets Interior Minister, emphasizes Islamic Unity Against Zionist Aggression
Shiite News: Iranian President Dr. Masoud Peshkeshian met with Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Monday and expressed deep appreciation for Pakistan’s support during the recent 12-day war.
He stressed the critical need for unity among Islamic countries to counter the conspiracies and destabilizing agendas of the Zionist regime.
President Peshkeshian underscored that the strength of the Islamic Ummah lies in solidarity, especially in the face of growing regional threats. “If Muslim nations recognize the value of unity, they can thwart the divisive and criminal strategies of the Zionist regime by forming a strong, collective front,” he said.
He further stated that the Zionist entity’s survival hinges on sowing discord within the Islamic world. “It is imperative that leaders and policymakers across Muslim nations remain vigilant and promote unity to defeat these conspiracies,” the Iranian President added.
Praising the cordial and growing relationship between Iran and Pakistan, President Peshkeshian highlighted the potential for deeper cooperation through diplomatic exchanges and continued high-level consultations.
Minister Mohsin Naqvi conveyed greetings from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and congratulated the Iranian nation on its steadfast resistance. “We believe that the wisdom and guidance of Ayatollah Khamenei played a decisive role in Iran’s dignified resistance, which is a source of pride for the entire Islamic Ummah,” Naqvi remarked.
He reiterated Pakistan’s early and unwavering condemnation of Zionist aggression and reaffirmed Islamabad’s support for Iran’s right to self-defense.
Describing Iran-Pakistan relations as unique and progressively strengthening, Minister Naqvi noted that both countries’ ambassadors are working actively to expand cooperation in various fields.
