TikToker of banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi arrested for takfir
Shiite News: In the holy month of Muharram, TikToker Obaid from Muzaffargarh district tried to incite sectarian sentiments.
Obaid uploaded a video on the social media platform “Tik Tok”, which included hatred slogans of the banned organization Lashkar-e-Jhangvi “Kafir Kafir Shia Kafir”.
After the video went public, there was severe anxiety in the area. Believers and peace-loving citizens called this act an attempt to violate the sanctity of Muharram and incite sectarianism and protested vehemently.
The youth of Jafaria of Shahr-e-Sultan staged a protest at Shahr-e-Sultan police station against this provocative act and demanded effective legal action.
Taking immediate action, the police registered a case against Obaid under non-bailable section 295-A and arrested him.
