MYC expresses serious concern on situation in Kurram district

Shiite News: The provincial council meeting of the Milli Yakjehti Council (MYC) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was held at the Markaz Islamic Peshawar under the chairmanship of Provincial President Abdul Wasi.

Addressing the meeting, Provincial President of the MYC Abdul Wasi said that for the past two years, the rulers of the entire world, including the rulers of the Islamic world, have been adhering to double standards on the Israeli aggression in Palestine and Gaza.

Israel is continuously humiliating humanity in Gaza, while the silence of other rulers, including the United States, especially the rulers of the Islamic world, is a matter of concern.

The meeting expressed deep anger over the shameful act of arresting former Jamaat-e-Islami senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan along with his wife and children in the federal capital Islamabad yesterday for raising his voice for the oppressed people of Gaza and transferring him to Adiala Jail.

This act of the federal government and Islamabad police was termed as the worst example of pro-America and Israelism.

Deep concern was also expressed over the deprivation of more than 67,000 pilgrims from Hajj this year due to the negligence of the Ministry of Hajj and the government of Pakistan.

Concern was once again expressed over the latest wave of unrest in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the deteriorating law and order situation, drone attacks, and the ongoing insurgency in Kurram and southern districts.

It was decided that a meeting of the provincial council of the Milli Yakjehti Council would be convened in this regard immediately after Eid in which a plan of action would be formulated regarding these issues.
