MWM holds Majlis e Aza on martyrdom of Imam Jawad (a.s.), Allama Hassan Zafar addresses

Shiite News: A mourning ceremony was held on the occasion of the martyrdom of Imam Muhammad Taqi Jawad (a.s.) under the auspices of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Qom Branch on Monday night after Maghrib prayers at the office of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen in Qom Al Muqadisa.

The ceremony was addressed by Allama Syed Hassan Zafar Naqvi, General Secretary of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan.

He shed light on the life of Imam Muhammad Taqi (a.s.) and explained in detail the position of Imamate and infallibility.

He mentioned the atrocities inflicted on the Infallible Imams (AS) by the Abbasid Caliphs and their patience and perseverance.

In his address, Allama Hassan Zafar Naqvi also drew attention to the intellectual, ideological and social challenges faced in the present era and stressed the importance of following the teachings of the Infallible Imams (AS) to address them.

The gathering concluded with Matam Dari and Ziarat of the Infallible Imams (AS), which was attended by a large number of students.
