Pakistani Ambassador in Tehran meets Iranian parliamentary leader, discusses Pak-India tensions

Shiite News: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Tehran Muhammad Mudassar Tipu met with Fida Hossein Maliki, head of the Pak-Iran Parliamentary Friendship Group.

In this meeting, Maliki said that the relations between the government and people of Iran and Pakistan are very deep, friendly and historical.

He added that Iran is deeply concerned about the recent conflicts that have arisen between Pakistan and India.

He said that the Islamic Republic of Iran believes that this conflict should end as soon as possible with tolerance on both sides so that we can witness lasting stability and security in the region.

On this occasion, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Tehran, Mohammad Mudassar Tipu, also appreciated the constructive stance of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the Pakistan-India tension and Foreign Minister Araqchi’s role as a mediator.

He added that we are grateful for the Islamic Republic of Iran’s concern for establishing stability and security in the region and we emphasize close cooperation between Iran and Pakistan.
