Culture Department organizes poetry recital in Parachinar, poets from across the district participate

Shiite News: A poetry recital was organized in Parachinar under the auspices of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Department, in which poets from across the district participated and presented poems on peace.

A poetry recital was organized in Parachinar in collaboration with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Department and the Spin Ghar Literary Jirga in Governor’s Cottage.

In which poets from Upper Kurram, Lower and Central Kurram, as well as the district administration, social leaders and people from different walks of life participated.

In the peace poetry, Fakhri Bangash, Sabir Bangash, Nasir Ali Turi, Yousuf Gilaman, Adnan Ahmed, Murtaza Bangash, Yousuf Maranj and other poets presented beautiful poems regarding peace, while some poets created an atmosphere by presenting poems along with chants.

Assistant Commissioner Parachinar Khalid Imran entertained the audience by presenting poems in his unique and beautiful style.

In their speeches on the occasion, Professor Jamil Kazmi, Abdul Khaliq Pathan and Additional Deputy Commissioner Aamir Nawaz emphasized the importance of peace and said that peace is a need of every living soul.

The time has come for us to put our differences behind us and provide an atmosphere of peace for our future generations.

He urged the younger generation to use social media properly to show a positive image of their region to the world.

Later, Noor Zaman Khafgani, President of the Spin Ghar Literary Jirga, thanked the guests and participants, and especially the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Department.
