Police violence intolerable, protests will be held across Sindh, Allama Mubashir Hassan
Shiite News: The leaders of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen (MWM) have strongly condemned the police violence and unjustified arrests of lawyers during the ongoing peaceful sit-in against illegal canals in Karachi.
MWM Karachi Division Political Secretary, Allama Mubashir Hassan said that if the Sindh Police makes any attempt to sabotage the peaceful sit-in, the entire Sindh will be brought to a standstill.
He warned that the Sindh government should come to its senses and refrain from trying to suppress the public protest.
Allama Mubashir Hassan further said that until an official notification is issued to end the illegal canal project, the peaceful protest will continue.
He said that the fundamental rights of the people will not be allowed to be violated under any circumstances.
Other MWM leaders also severely criticized the Pakistan Peoples Party and said that the PPP should stop its hypocrisy on the canal issue and accept the legitimate demands of the people of Sindh.
