Parachinar has become Pakistan’s Gaza, Speakers’ addresses at Kurram Peace Convention

Shiite News: The “Kurram Peace Convention” was organized by the elders of Kurram and Parachinar Youth Rawalpindi and Islamabad, in which a large number of scholars, journalists, political and social figures participated and spoke.

The convention began with the address of Allama Syed Tajammul Hussain, a member of Anjuman Hussainiya.
He called the difficulties and unrest faced by the people of Kurram the result of government indifference.
He said that the situation that the brave people of Kurram have endured during the last six months should not be passed on to any enemy.
At present, Parachinar has become the Gaza Strip of Pakistan, which is being attacked from all sides, but the state guards seem completely unsuccessful in defending it.

Jamaat Ahle-e-Haram chief Mufti Gulzar Naeemi also addressed the conference and strongly condemned the ongoing unrest in Parachinar and demanded immediate action from the government.

On this occasion, Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen member Shura-e-Ali Syed Hassan Zafar Naqvi said that Parachinar has been under siege for the past seven months.

Hundreds of people have been killed and not a day goes by without heartbreaking news from Parachinar.

We will not sit idly by until the problems of Parachinar are resolved.

Former Senate Chairman and Pakistan Peoples Party central leader Nayyar Bukhari said that unrest and massacres have been going on in Kurram district for a long time.
Until we talk to each other, peace is impossible.

Parliamentary leader of Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen, Mr. Hameed Hussain Turi, said that if the Parachinar issue is not resolved in the courts of Pakistan, we will take it to the international court, because due to the government’s incompetence, trillions of rupees have been lost, which must be accounted for.

MPA Ali Hadi criticized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and said that due to the failed policies of Ali Amin Gandapur, unrest and road closures have arisen in Kurram.

Vice Chairman of Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen, Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, said that the roads of Parachinar have been closed for seven months and hundreds of lives have been lost.

The government and state institutions are ashamed of this situation.

On this occasion, Harmeet Singh called the siege and massacre of Parachinar against Pashtun traditions.

Jirga member Hussain Ali Hussaini blamed the government’s indifference for the unrest in Parachinar.

IDC Chairperson Gul Zahra said that by not being able to eliminate a few hundred Takfiri terrorists, it feels as if the government is supporting these terrorists.

Renowned journalist Siddique Jan, Opposition Leader of Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly Maysam Kazim, MWM Provincial President Allama Jahanzeb Jafri, Allama Syed Sabtain Hussaini and other speakers also addressed the convention and expressed deep concern over the deteriorating situation in Parachinar.

The speakers demanded that the siege of Parachinar be lifted immediately, the Tal-Parachinar road be opened for all types of traffic and the terrorists be eliminated.
