Shiite News: Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has warned that if the current crisis is not controlled, the growing tension with India may take the form of a nuclear conflict.

He stressed Islamabad’s complete readiness for any situation and said that our response depends on India’s actions.

Our response will be proportionate, if any full-scale attack is carried out, then obviously a full-scale war will break out and if the situation continues to deteriorate in this way, this conflict will have serious consequences.

The attack on tourists in Indian-administered Kashmir has once again increased tensions between New Delhi and Islamabad.

India, accusing Pakistan of retaliation, took extraordinary measures, including suspending the Indus Waters Treaty, banning the entry of Pakistani citizens, cancelling visas, expelling military advisers, closing the Wagah border and reducing the staff of the Indian embassy in Islamabad.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi stressed in a speech that the perpetrators of the attack would be pursued anywhere in the world.

In response, Pakistan’s National Security Committee also approved a series of retaliatory measures, including suspension of trade relations with India, closure of airspace for Indian flights, expulsion of Indian citizens from Pakistani territory and closure of the Wagah border.

Pakistan’s Senate on Friday unanimously passed a resolution rejecting Delhi’s claim that Pakistan was involved in the blast in Indian-administered Kashmir.

Pakistan’s Senate said India’s allegations against Islamabad were baseless and politically motivated. The Senate resolution strongly condemns all forms of terrorism and emphasizes that targeting innocent civilians is against Pakistan’s core values.
