India ends SAARC visa exemption, closed the doors to Pakistani citizens

Shiite News: Indian media quoted the Indian Ministry of External Affairs as saying that Pakistani citizens will not be able to travel to India under the SAARC visa exemption.

India will recall all its defense attachés from Islamabad. India is further reducing diplomatic relations with Pakistan. In 2019, relations were limited to consular instead of High Commissioner.

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs further said that the number of diplomatic staff will be reduced from 55 to 30, and military advisors in the Pakistani High Commission have been given a week to leave the country.

India is also recalling military advisors from the Indian High Commission in Islamabad following the attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir.
