Religious scholar Allama Wijdani arrested in Saudi Arabia

Shiite News: Discrimination against people who love the Ahlul Bayt (AS) continues in Saudi Arabia.

Quetta’s Friday Imam and renowned religious scholar, Hujjatul Islam wal Muslimeen Allama Ghulam Hasnain Wijdani was detained at Taif Airport in Saudi Arabia on April 20, 2025, on the basis of unknown reasons.

He was in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah.

Two days have passed since the arrest of Allama Sahib, but no clear position or statement has been issued by the Saudi authorities yet, which is causing great concern among his family and devotees.

History witness to the fact that nepotism has always been embedded in Saudi state policies.

Hatred for the Ahlul Bayt (AS) and hatred for those who love them has been a part of this system.

This land is often made narrow for such people who keep the remembrance of Ahlul Bayt alive.

We demand from the Government of Pakistan to immediately contact the Saudi authorities through diplomatic channels and take effective steps for the early release of Allama Wijdani Sahib so that concern and uncertainty can be ended.
