Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri elected MWM Chairman

Shiite News: Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri was elected as the new chairman of the party in the intra-party election of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan.

The newly elected chairman was announced by the head of the Supreme Assembly, Allama Sheikh Hassan Salahuddin.

Earlier, three names were presented among the General Assembly.

Among them were the names of Hujjat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslimin Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, Hujjat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslimin Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi and Hujjat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslimin Allama Syed Hasnain Abbas Gardezi.

The General Assembly elected Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri as the new chairman by a majority vote.

The newly elected chairman was sworn in by the head of the High Council of Hujjat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslimin Allama Sheikh Hassan Salahuddin.

Representatives from all provinces of Pakistan, including the state of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, all districts and Mashhad-e-Muqaddas, Qom-e-Muqaddas, Najaf Ashraf and Europe cast their votes.
