Shiite News: Head of the Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, says that technical and constitutional issues should be resolved at high-level forums.

Seriousness should be shown on this issue, haste should be avoided on the issue of new canals on the Indus River.

The issue should be immediately considered in the Council of Common Interests, issues of national importance should be resolved only through mutual understanding, a decision should be made keeping in mind the reservations in this regard.

He expressed these views while commenting on the concerns raised about new canals from the Indus River to Cholistan, clarifications by the federal government, and concerns and concerns raised by various political and social circles on the issue.

Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi said that water is directly related to the common farmer and the public, therefore, a thorough discussion, mutual understanding and consensus of all units on such projects of national and public importance is of utmost importance.

If there is no consensus on important national issues, not only does it create social unrest, but positive measures also yield negative results.
