Lashkar-e-Jhangvi cleric rapes child during ihtikaf

Shiite News: A tragic incident that took place in Masjid Bilal in Mohalla Kumharan Wala of Chunian has shaken the entire society, where an alleged attempt was made to molest a 16/17-year-old boy sitting in I’tikaf. The police have registered a case on the request of the victim’s father.

According to the details, on the night of March 27, 2025, Maulvi Ghulam Rasool, a member of the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, tried to have an indecent act with the boy Usman present in the mosque.

When Usman shouted, other people in the mosque, Anwar and Yousuf, saw the accused fleeing from the spot.

The police have started action for the immediate arrest of the accused. The public has strongly condemned the incident and demanded exemplary punishment.
