Pakistani women’s educational and cultural tour of Iran: Workshop held in Mashhad
Shiite News: An educational and cultural tour of the Islamic Republic of Iran was organized by the Khana Farhang of the Islamic Republic of Iran Karachi for women from different cities of Pakistan. A group of Pakistani women reached Mashhad, they were welcomed by Ms. Zeyeb Rastegar.
A workshop was held at Maktaba Narjis Mashhad for women from different cities including Karachi, Quetta and Islamabad.
Ms. Rastegar spoke to the women participating in the workshop on the importance of teamwork and public movements, Ms. Haidari on the position of women in Islam, and Ustad Ghulam Reza Jalali on modern Islamic civilization.
The women in the group were also addressed by Mr. Bagheri, the in-charge of Khana Farhang Mashhad, and Mr. Muhammad Ali Zulfiqari, the director of pilgrim affairs at the Imam Reza Shrine (AS). The women in the group were honored with the visit of Imam Reza (AS).
At the end of the holy journey, the women in the group thanked the administration of Khana Farhang Karachi, describing this educational and cultural tour as important for promoting relations between women and brotherly Islamic countries.
