Punjab Police foils Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorist attack in Dera Ghazi Khan

Shiite News: According to Pakistani media, Punjab Police has foiled another attack by outlawed Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorists on a border check post in Dera Ghazi Khan.

Outlawed Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorists attacked the Lakhani check post of Wahwa police station for the fifth time this month. A spokesperson for Punjab Police said that ten to twelve terrorists attacked the Lakhani check post from three sides during Sehri and used rocket launchers and other heavy weapons.

According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, when the police personnel were alerted, the terrorists were immediately identified using thermal image cameras and the terrorists failed to reach the check post due to retaliatory action.

After a two-hour encounter, the terrorists of the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi escaped after suffering heavy losses.
