Mufti Munir Shakir was supporter of inter-Muslim unity, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri

Shiite News: Head of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri has said in a condemnatory statement issued from his X account that the martyrdom of Mufti Munir Shakir is an irreparable loss.

“I strongly condemn this cowardly terrorist attack, which is proof that extremist elements are afraid of these brave and fearless preachers who were lighting the candle of unity, brotherhood and truth” he said.

Mufti Munir Shakir was a great advocate and supporter of inter-Muslim unity, who dedicated his life to the promotion of unity, brotherhood and peace of the Ummah.

The martyrdom of Mufti Munir Shakir is not only a great loss to the academic and spiritual world but also a question mark for those elements of society who are merchants of hatred and are afraid of the messengers of peace.

I strongly demand from the government of the day that the elements involved in this brutal crime be brought to justice as soon as possible and the protection of such great scholars and preachers, who are the champions of brotherhood, love and harmony, be ensured at all costs.
